A very satisfying pumpkin ale. Goes down tasting like a piece of liquid home-made, warmed pumpkin pie.
This is a nice porter, I really like the smoke addition, it is not a dominant note, but is significant and adds lots of interesting complexity to this Porter.
This year’s Pinon Nut Brown Ale is named Cheyenne Canyon Ale since all proceeds will got to the preservation of North Cheyenne Canyon. Anyone who has been to North Cheyenne Canyon will know how beautiful it is. This beer honors that beauty appropriately.
“The perfect mix of hops for me.”
“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.”
I really appreciate that the actual pumpkin flavor comes through so well in this beer. It is clearly made with real, no-foolin’ pumpkins. The malt bill is complex and fun, while not becoming too overwhelming.
