Bristol’s Mango Golden Sour
As those who understand the intricacies of brewing technique will know, brewing a kettle sour allows for more control as the brewer creates the nuances of flavor he or she wishes to achieve in a sour. So it is with Bristol’s Mango Golden Sour. To craft this beer, our brewers brought together wheat and barley, mango puree, our house kolsch yeast--and of course, a carefully selected strain of lactobacillus to do the heavy lifting. The result is a simple, clean sour, light-bodied and refreshing, beautifully cloudy, with a tart finish and just a subtle hint of the tropical.
