About Us: Employees
Mike Bristol: Owner |
| Lead singer and driver of the Winnebago. |
| Favorite Beer: Red Rocket |
| |
Josh Osterhoudt: General Manger |
| Josh isn't quite ready for the Winnebago, but you might find him hanging out of a side car when he's not riding his mountain bike.
| Favorite Beer: Yellow Kite Pilsner |
| josho@bristolbrewing.com |
| |
Lynne Blesener: Accounting/Administration/Superchick |
| Lynne needs so many titles because she does so much that we just can't sum it up in one word. "Superchick" comes the closest. If you want to get her talking, ask about her bulldog. |
| Favorite Beer: Kolsch |
| lynneb@bristolbrewing.com |
| |
John Schneider: Brewer |
| John learned brewing at Bristol and then did a stint running a brewpub brewery in Arizona. We knew he'd be back - he couldn't resist the Bristol draw... |
| Favorite Beer: still deciding |
| |
Michelle Majchrzak: Tasting Room Manager |
| Michelle keeps the tasting room in check and the beer flowing. Don't bother trying to pronounce her last name...none of us can. |
| Favorite Beer: Bristol's Octoberfest |
| michellem@bristolbrewing.com |
| |
Ken Andrews: Microbiologist |
| Ken is our mad scientist who does all of our quality control and yeast propagation. He came to us after 25 years of teaching at Colorado College. If you're down at the brewery, look for him in his custom-made tie-dye labcoat. |
| Favorite Beer: Bristol's Octoberfest |
| |
Tad Davis: Maintenance/Problem Solving |
| Tad decided he didn't want to be a lawyer anymore, and came to work for us. He's tons of fun...just don't call him Frank. |
| Favorite Beer: Red Rocket |
| |
Laura Long: The Bristol Beerocrat |
| Laura's duties entail tasting beer, preaching beer, writing beer, talking beer and giving beer away. If you see her around town, ask her about it -- she'd love to explain it all over a pint. |
| Favorite Beer: Skull 'n Bones Flanders Red |
| laural@bristolbrewing.com |
| |
Patrick Tuffield: Brewer |
| Patrick has been hard at work around here for years. He started out in the warehouse and doing deliveries. We're glad he's a full-time brewer these days; he's the one we go to when we need an extra hand or a hug! |
| Favorite Beer: Compass IPA |
| |
Aaron Conditt: Brewer |
| Aaron is laid back, helpful, kind and wields a mean mash paddle. He's kind of a cross between a boy scout and Chuck Norris. That's good if you're an old lady needing help crossing the street. Not so good if you're a bad beer. |
| Favorite Beer: Cask IPA with Venetucci hops |
| |
Nikos Pulos: Colorado Springs Sales |
| The Greek geek who started behind the bar. If you see him, be sure to ask him about the Madonna mole that hides behind his moustache. Nikos now sells outside the brewery - he manages sales in Manitou and Colorado Springs. |
| Favorite Beer: Cherry Warlock |
| nikosp@bristolbrewing.com |
| |
David Boone: Breweducator/Brewing Padawan |
| As the great, great, etc grandson of Daniel Boone, it's not surprising that David spends most of his time breaking trail for us in the mountain towns. When he's not spreading the good news of Bristol's brews, you can often find him in the brewhaus working out with the mash paddle, stirring wort or shoveling grain. Go Boone! |
| Favorite Beer: Compass IPA |
| boone@bristolbrewing.com |
| |
Bob Archibald: Beertender Extraordinaire |
| Bartender. Home Brewer. Beer Lover. Behind that grumpy-bear exterior, he just wants you to love the beer. And, now that he is semi-retired, you can find him lurking behind the bar even more often than before, which is almost any night. Talk to him about home brewing, he loves to share experiences. Check out Bob’s Home Brewing Blog “100 Bottles of Beer” at www.associatedcontent.com/archrl |
| Favorite Beer: Compass IPA |
| |
Christina Vair: Counter Insurgent |
| No self-respecting bar would be complete without a grad student diligently pouring suds and adding some sparkly leftist flair to the bar talk. Christina is ours. If she recommends a beer to you, trust her, she's a doctor. Almost. |
| Favorite Beer: Bristol's Double IPA |
| |
Derik Gentz: Abominable Warehouse Guru |
| Derik roams the Colorado Springs streets disguised as a mild-mannered, multi-lingual beer guy, but if you hang around the east side long enough, perhaps you can spot his alter ego rockin' the mic as the world's first Abominable Rapping Snowman. |
| Favorite Beer: Anything he can drink at home |
| |
Beth Everett: Jill of All Trades |
| We liked Beth so much we had to steal her from La'au's taco shop. Most days you can find her either behind the bar or helping Lynne, Laura or Matty out in the brewery. |
| Favorite Beer: Don't Call Me Wit |
| |
Matt Ward: Beer Marketeer |
| Matt brings seriously mad skills, comic relief and an extensive collection of vintage concert t-shirts to the brewery. We feel so lucky to have him that we chained him in the dungeon so he can never, never leave. He's the guru of all merchandise, promotional products and brewery artwork. |
| Favorite Beer: Mass Transit |
| mattw@bristolbrewing.com |
| |
Nes Gaytan: Hero of Hops |
| Nes is a self-proclaimed gear head. If he's not delivering Bristol beer or sneaking in a shift behind the bar, he's restoring cars or playing with his kids. He's our kinda guy. |
| Favorite Beer: Compass IPA |
| |
Brett Garman: Hopspitality Coordinator |
| Heading the adage, "if you want something done, ask a busy person", the Beerocrat scoured the city for the busiest, smiling-est gal she could find to assist her. Brett allegedly has a full-time job and is working on a Master's degree, but we don't know how she has the time, since she's spreading Bristol love at festivals and events most nights and weekends. When you see her out and about, say hi to her. She's nice. |
