Join us each Tuesday night in the Bristol Pub when we invite a local non-profit to tell you who they are, what they stand for, and how they’re making Colorado Springs better. We’ll donate one dollar per pint sold between 6:00 and 8:00 to their cause. So come in, buy a pint, and support the good work that’s being done in our community. Doing good never tasted better!
From our friends at the Sue DiNapoli Ovarian Cancer Society:
The money raised from our 2017 Karma Hour will fund the Sue’s Gift Financial Assistance Program and the Sue DiNapoli Ovarian Cancer Society’s Awareness Program. The Sue’s Gift Financial Assistance Program offers economic support specifically to Southern Colorado women diagnosed with gynecological cancer to help with medical bills, health insurance deductibles, prescriptions, and other medical expenses. Whether it’s health insurance deductibles, doctor’s bills, or prescriptions, Sue’s Gift is a promise to the women of Southern Colorado that no one stands alone when it comes to battling cancer. The Sue DiNapoli Ovarian Cancer Society’s Awareness Program works year round to educate the community about the symptoms and risk factors of ovarian cancer. The team has distributed 9150 ovarian cancer symptoms cards and has had 776 one on one conversations with women about the disease during the summer of 2016!
