Bristol Joins the 2009 Give Campaign

Bristol Brewing Company has teamed up with The Colorado Springs Independent and more than five-dozen other local businesses and foundations to launch a multi-media print, cyber, radio, TV and guerilla marketing campaign designed to facilitate year-end giving to a cross-section of 29 Pikes Peak-area nonprofit organizations selected by a broad-based steering committee as worthy of community support.

Community members can select one, two or multiple non-profits and make a donation online in a single, easy transaction.

All giving will be made via this secure web site, and all funds are held by the Pikes Peak Community Foundation, until mid-January 2010, when non-profit organizations will be paid 100% of funds citizens donate at an event sponsored by the El Pomar Foundation.

The goals of the Give! Campaign are threefold:
* to provide publicity and exposure to worthy local non-profits;
* to attract new donors and/or volunteers to these causes; and
* to encourage people who do not regularly give to donate time and money, with a particular emphasis on those 18-36 to get involved in philanthropy.
