JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a warm, hospitality-driven professional to serve as the first point of contact for guests at Ivywild School. This role is focused on creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience by greeting visitors, answering questions, assisting with wayfinding, and overseeing day-to-day operations of the merchandise retail area. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, proactive, and genuinely enjoys engaging with people in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Guest Experience & Hospitality

  • Welcome guests with an enthusiastic and friendly attitude
  • Serve as a visible and approachable presence throughout the venue
  • Answer guest questions regarding:
    • Food and beverage concepts
    • Brewery offerings
    • Venue amenities
    • Events and programming
    • Directions within the property
  • Assist guests event locations and general wayfinding
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and hospitality-focused atmosphere

Private Events & Hospitality Support

  • Direct guests to private parties, meetings, and event spaces
  • Coordinate with event staff to ensure smooth guest arrivals
  • Communicate guest needs or issues to management and event teams promptly

Merchandise & Venue Support

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the merchandise store
  • Assist guests with merchandise purchases and product questions
  • Maintain organized, stocked and visually appealing displays
  • Process retail transactions accurately through POS systems
  • Help promote branded merchandise and seasonal offerings

General Venue Support

  • Stay informed on daily events, promotions, menus, and operational updates
  • Assist with crowd flow and guest communication during busy service periods
  • Support leadership with additional guest service needs as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous hospitality, guest services, retail, or customer-facing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable standing and moving throughout large venues for extended periods
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • POS or retail experience preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to navigate multiple areas of a large venue
