JOB TITLE: Maintenance & Facilities Support

REPORTS TO: Operations & Facilities Manager

THIS IS AN HOURLY, PART TIME POSITION

JOB SUMMARY:

The Maintenance & Facilities Support is responsible for the overall upkeep, cleanliness support, repair, and operational functionality of Ivywild School and surrounding property. This position plays a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role requires a hands-on, proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, complete preventative maintenance, coordinate repairs, and respond quickly to operational needs in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

JOB DUTIES:

Facility Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues efficiently and safely.
• Monitor and maintain lighting, doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, and common areas.

Building Support

• Support brewery and kitchen operations with facility-related maintenance needs.
• Ensure all public spaces remain clean, functional, and guest-ready.
• Coordinate waste removal, recycling, and exterior cleanliness.

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
• Identify and report safety hazards immediately.
• Ensure walkways, patios, entrances, and parking areas are safe and maintained.
• Assist with snow removal, salting, weather preparation, and emergency response as needed.
• Maintain proper use and storage of tools, chemicals, and equipment.
